Returns

We do not offer refunds - please check all measurements before ordering to avoid any disappointment.

Dotted Line will do a one time exchange or issue store credit for returned merchandise subject to the terms and conditions below:

  • Merchandise must reach us within 21 days from the date on your invoice.
  • Merchandise must not be damaged, worn, altered, stained or washed.
  • Merchandise must have all tags attached.
  • All incurred shipping and handling charges are payable by the customer and not refundable.
  • Customers are responsible for any return shipping costs & new shipping fees (for exchanges) unless the return is due to a manufacturing defect.
  • FINAL SALE - no returns, no exchange
    • Any item that is >=40% off is automatically final sale
    • Items labelled Final Sale
    • Items purchased under promotions which are Final Sale
    • Limited Edition & Made to Order cheongsams are Final Sale

For exchanged items of a lower value than the returned merchandise, the excess amount will be issued as store credit. Customers will have to pay for the difference in value for exchanged items of a higher value than the returned merchandise. Dotted Line reserves the right to refuse return of goods that do not meet our return policy requirements.

Making a Return

Email dorothy@dottedlinestore.com (subject "Return") with your name, order number, item description and reason for return. Please wait for our reply before shipping an item back to us. Once we receive the item in good order, we will issue you an exchange or store credit.

Items purchased online must be returned only via 1) registered mail or 2) professional courier (Design Orchard will not accept returns purchased online)

Items purchased at Design Orchard are subject to the Design Orchard returns policy.

Dotted Line cannot be responsible for lost or damaged goods in transit and recommend that you use a delivery service that has adequate tracking capability when returning your item. Please also indicate your name and address on the back of the parcel.

If the item you wish to exchange is no longer in stock, we will give you store credit. Store credit must be utilized within 6 months of issue.
